Over the next few blog post, I will be describing the types of services offered by Rich Wheeler Media. You may find one or more of these services fit your business or organizational needs. I offer a free phone consultation to answer any questions you may have and see if we are a good fit for whatever project you have in mind. I can be reached by email (rich@richwheeler.com) or by phone (912) 388-1883. If you get my voice mail please leave a message.
Today I will be talking about Basic Web Design. I use the word “basic” for a good reason. Even though I have been making websites since the late 90s that included code only back then I prefer to let my clients know what I can and cannot do. The entire internet has changed drastically even over just the past few years. My final formal internet class was in 2011. The program we used then is hardly used today with the popularity of WordPress and Wix.com. HTML code is also not widely used anymore. SEO is vital but very difficult to master. So that is why I use the term “basic”. It does not mean your website will not look great it just means I do not have the SEO skills that other web designers might have. I am learning more every day but if you are extremely concerned with where you are placed on google you might need to seek another web designer or add a second person to our project.
Here is what I can do. I can create a website that is easy to navigate. I can either use your photographs or come to your business and take photos for an extra fee. I can do the same with video. I can help you register your URL (web address) with Dreamhost.com. I can do all the necessary setup work to get your page up and running. I prefer to use WordPress to create your site but am also familiar with wix.com. You may already have a website but you need it redesigned or worked on. I can help you with that.
Thanks for taking the time to read this post. If you need or know of anyone who needs any of my services please email (rich@richwheeler.com) or call phone (912) 388-1883. My next blog post will talk about Videography. I was the “Videographer of the Year” for my Teleproduction class of 2011. Just had to throw that in.
